The first stage of peeling plywood consists of hydrothermal processing of logs.Wood is placed in special steam pits where depending on the thickness it is usually subjected to a several dozen hour-long steaming process at 70 degrees Celsius. With this procedures, wood becomes more malleable and susceptible to cutting. Then the logs are cut into trunk rolls of a suitable length and exposed to a process of peeling.
During this process, due to a round peeling a trunk roll is converted into a strip of peeled ribbon-like form of the assumed thickness 1.0, 1.2 or 1.5 mm. Then it is automatically divided into veneer sheets of the assumed width.
A veneer roller drier is the device in which the drying of peeled veneer takes place until the ply moisture content is in the range of 6-10%. So prepared sheets are ready for bonding.
Depending on an application of the created veneer it is divided into 4 classes of quality. Sorted out by their kind, veneer sheets go into the warehouse where the they are submitted to air conditioning for approximately 48 hours.
Forms peeled slated for outer layers of varnish are pre-sanded before the bonding process. This shall take place on a wide belt polisher, which smooths the surface with a 0.1 mm precision.
Use of the appropriate temperature and pressure allows us to shape our products into a desired pattern. For this purpose we use heated pressing tools and HF (high - frequency) which glue the sheets thanks to the resin urea-formaldehyde of the E1 hygienic class. Based on a special request we can arrange moldings in lower emissions.
At this stage pressed plywood profiles are subjected to several operations intended to give them their final shape and to prepare the elements for finishing the surface with varnish. Our 5-axis digitally-controlled woodworking machines enable us to process even the most sophisticated profiles and to maintain 100% repeatability of the article. This is a crucial issue in any large - series production.
This is the last step of the entire technological process, where the products are given their final touch. We varnish and color the products if only our clients prefer them that way. We use polyurethane paints and on a special request - aqueous lacquers.
